I Love When a Plan Comes Together!
“I love it when a plan comes together!” This was the famous line cited by the fictional Colonel John “Hannibal” Smith of the A-Team. As a teenager, I loved the show because it’s characters, even though the plot was somewhat predictable. There was a challenge… then a plan… and then the execution of the plan. Hmm… sounds somewhat like pastoring a church.
That’s exactly was occurred yesterday at our Back to School Giveaway. We made some key adjustments this year. We did it during our Sunday morning worship experience instead of the usual Saturday before school started. And what a difference that was!
We were able to design and personalize our very own Impact Church backpacks and filled them with school supplies. We were able to bless hundreds of students and give a gift to every parent as well!
We had a packed house… a packed overflow section… and most importantly, packed altars! We had a captured audience. They received more than school supplies; they were given much love and the opportunity of eternal life! Yep, I feel like the Colonel… “I love when a plan comes together!”(minus the cigar – LOL)
Impact Church, share with me your thoughts…
YEap, that right. We did our part very well, Not only the people went for a material gift, they left with a huge spiritual gift and love form us. Church, this is just the begining, now we have to be stronger than ever to keep this flow of the spirit. This is our harvest time guy… Let’s do this
I am so proud to be a part of a church that truly loves people, and wants to see a region won for Christ!! Great job impact church!
WOW!! Its good to see the fruit of our labor. The word says not to grow weary in well doing for in due time you will reap the harvest. I believe God is preparing us and testing us to be trsutred in the small for I know the big is just around the corner. Pastor thank you for leading us to greatness.
We had a beautiful turn out yesterday and the best part was seeing men, women, and children all gathered at the altar, giving their lives to Christ. Lord give us the capacity in our hearts to minister to and disciple the people you have brought into the house. I pray that their spirit was moved and they have a revelation of what took place yesterday when they prayed at the altar. They will come back to the house and become active, purpose driven, citizens of the Kingdom!
That’s awesome. I got to be at the greeting table this Sunday. As everyone left service, even those who were at first hesistant about coming in stated as they exited that they had a great time and that they were touched. The kids walked out with their school supplies on their backs as their parents cradled their own personalized books. There was joy there in those moments. Good times at Impact Church and more to come.
awesome!
I was so thrilled and grateful of the crowd that came to this loving and
amazing service. Everybody sure did their part. This turnout surely
shows how prayer plus action works. This was so powerful to see!
You could see that so many of the quest were touched and felt God’s
presence. I felt thrilled to see someone that I had handed a flyer came
and approached me with her son. I have been praying for Julie’s
husband to be saved and he tooked the alter call. Thank you all!
I am so excited of the turn out we had on sunday it was so amazing to see alll those people who got born again. It was a wonderful turnout.
It was a beautiful turnout I know that I was helping out with the children But can feel that it was very powerful.
We are still in the beginning there is still so much more to come. Thank you God for your faithfulness. We will be a light to this Region.
Great time had. People giving their hearts to Jesus !! What a great thing. What we have been praying for. It’s happening…
It was such an excitement to see the hands that were raised at the count of three. I will continue to pray that every single hand that was raised return and remain committed to Impact Church. Excellent Conclusion.
Actually its just the beginning!
LOL….. Very true. 🙂
I am excited. Now comes the part where the believers step up to the plate and we begin to disciple the new members and step outside our comfort zone. We have to put feet with our prayers. I am excited and I know that God can use just one person to do a great work for his kingdom. Imagine what we can do when we are all on one accord and we share the same heart like God and our pastors. Kingdom expansion. Miami here we come one soul at a time.
Great plan and execution. We were able to publicly communicate the gospel without a problem from the school. Our plan went excellent and we were able to reach out hundreds of people. It was a powerful time!
