Passion + Problems = Purpose

I was reading blog stats of the past couple of years and realized that this blog post received the most hits and comments.  With that in mind, I figured I’ll go back to come “old school”  and repost it again.  For all my new subscribers (and old ones) let me know your thoughts on it…

We were designed to solve problems.  The things we use today like doorknobs, glasses, chairs, shoes, microphones, etc. were all created to solve problems.  A problem existed and an invention was created.

Problems are the catalyst for creativity.  Inventors direct their creative passion toward a problem to create a solution for a certain problem.  What they created has been given a purpose.

Everything in life has purpose.  And yes, even problems have a purpose.  The purpose of problems is to build your passion in such a way that you pursue your purpose in order to solve the problem!

You were designed, intended and purposed to solve problems. Problems will come but will only leave when they are solved. Without passion, problems have permanent residency.  They are not supposed hang out with you for long periods of time.  If a problem becomes a permanent resident in your life, it only communicates the absence of passion to solve it.

We are all on a journey to discover purpose.  But purpose will never be discovered outside of problems. And if we don’t marry passion with our problems we will never produce our purpose.

It is very necessary for you to produce your purpose for the reason that you are the solution to someone else’s problems.  You are a walking solution to somebody.  You are needed!  You are necessary to someone!

Here’s the clincher… Problems are produced automatically by life; they are a guaranteed entity.  On the other hand, passion must be generated by you. So, it is safe to say that living among problems and not knowing purpose is simply the absence of PASSION.   Impact Church, let’s build our passion! Let’s solve problems and fulfill purpose!

Without problems to solve, life would be pretty boring and pointless. There are times that where there are many problems and I try to avoid and forget about them. Pastor told me something about problems that was hard to swallow but is absolutely true; “Problems won’t go away if I try to forget about them.” As it was said in the blog, “Problems will come but will only leave when they are solved.” I have learned to embrace the problems and have fun solving them.

Well if we don’t have a passion for anything we won’t have any purpose to save anybody. so we need to keep up with the Lord and he will help us get passion so than we can go to the next level.

I just pray that my passion for problems gives me a burden that leads to action so I can accomplish what God has called me to. My passion arise like never before inside of every believer. Thanks for the illustration. Thank God many people were obedient and answered some problems in the world.

I always believe that we are problem solver, we born that way, God made us that we, the problem is when we try to understand it ourselves instead to go to the Father, pray our life out in order to seek wisdom. I always try to engage my passion towards problems even if the problem looks huge and complicated enough to minimize me, but i serve a God who is Big than any problem or situation, My Jesus will walk me out thought the valley of the shadow and death and i will not fear evil. Thank God because you call us to places where we can develop our purpose.

Great blog pastor. I agree 100% with you problems are for us to solve them. I think that life in general will be very boring if there were any problems. And also the satisfaction of solving a problem is always great
