It’s All About Teams
This year I feel directed, by the Lord, to build our church by focusing on building teams. I’ve literally surrounded myself with four teams that I’m personally building and leading. And it’s through these teams that I intend to reach the next level of influence in our region.
Here are my four teams:
- Elders/ Board of Directors – They lead our church with me.
- Ministry Team – These are leaders of all our departments and ministries. Our executive pastor helps manage each ministry.
- Prayer Team – These are a handful of people don’t just engage in prayer, but lead all prayer meetings and gatherings as well.
- Preaching Team – These are those that I’ve recognized in theme an ability to teach and preach. They help with pulpit duties are responsible to pray and fast in order to effectively preach God’s Word.
I believe the only way to reach any region is to build successful teams. And doing this is no easy task. To be part of a team requires less self-identity and more corporate identity. It simply cuts against the grain of today’s culture.
The neat thing is that I’m also in a team myself. I’m part of a team that is helping build a network of churches. I’m not at liberty to say of yet; I do know it will be very big! And this really excites me to the core!
What team are you a part of?
Well its good when you set up teams because we know that we are all in the same pace. we are here to see them go to the next level.
This is a great time for Impact Church to be in. It is built on teams, not meant for Pastor to do it all. I am honor to be part of a team and do my responsibility as an intercessor for this house.
We must remember what team stands for:
Together
Everyone
Achieves
More
Let’s reach this region…..
We can accomplish more when we are in unity and when we work as a team. Yesterday you taught us the importance of working together, when we work in a group in one accord we can accomplish anything!
We at brought together to bring people to church and to watch their lives change for the love of christ.
