Praying Leaders
It’s hard to describe in words what’s happening in Impact Church. We’re literally seeing people walk into the new season God has given us. It’s refreshing to see the eyes of people opening up! Love these times in our church!
I feel compelled to continue to intercede, in prayer, for every member of our church. As pastors, cell group leaders and ministry directors, we should double the time of prayer to the time of pastoral care and leading. By doing this, we invite and allow the TRUE SHEPHERD to work in His sheep. I just know that God can do more in day than we can work for in one month.
Our Impact verse for this year is in Acts 2:42…
They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.
I believe TRUE fellowship and breaking of bread cannot be understood until we first learn its importance through Biblical apostolic teaching. And once taught, it must be continually marinated in prayer in order for unity and synergy to occur in a body of believers. The search for community in a church is futile without this.
Prayer is the greatest tool in the tool box of ministry. Keep praying with expectation people… there’s no substitute for it!
Amen Pastor. Pray with the expectation and the faith that God has already answered that prayer, then take action towards it. I’m loving it, in expectation of great things this season!!! 🙂
Well Pastor its going to be a wonderful seaon because when you pray everything fall in its place.
Pastor pray helps us show people the he actually listen to us.
Totally agree, we must continue to pray and seek God’s face. I know this is what continues to give me hope and strength. Especially when I know that my prayers do not have an expiration date. Believing in expectation that we have been called for such a time as this and Acts 2:42 will be accomplish in IC this summer.
