My Three Mothers

I’m a very blessed man!  I have three moms in my life!  And these three moms all play a vital part.  I honor all three of them today!

Victoria Rivera, my beautiful wife and the mother of my children.  I honor you today for all your hard work and effort.  Our children are blessed of the Lord because of you.   I see your unconditional love for them everyday!   You are selfless.  You are virtuous in many different ways.  You are great in many things, but as a mom, you are exceptional!

Nancy Shackelford, my mother in law.   I thank God for you every day.  You’ve been Victoria’s best friend an amazing grandma to my children.  You have rescued us one too many times in many different ways.   You have proven to us time and time again the importance of family.  You are invaluable to me; God has blessed us by having you in our lives.

Rosa Rivera, my Mommy.  You are the reason why I do what I do.  If it weren’t for you I wouldn’t be here.  If it weren’t for you, I wouldn’t be serving the Lord.   If it weren’t for your long-suffering, pain, and tears I wouldn’t be standing on my platform of influence.  You have changed many lives directly and indirectly.   You are a world changer and history maker.  And I’m proud to be called your son!

Happy Mother’s Day ladies!

Letting you in my head just a little!
2 Timothy 3:16-17 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work .(There’s some HOPE yet )
Proverbs 14:26 He who fears the Lord has a secure fortress, and for his children it will be a refuge.
(Why it is this kid seems they have no fear in parents, teachers, police let alone leaders in the church)
Proverbs 19:18 Discipline your son, for in that there is hope; do not be a willing party to his death.
(How can you when the Government are in their ears, what happen to one too the neck two to the face? I’ve made it to 36 years just fine)
Proverbs 22:6 Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it.
(How true it is, it’s just hard for me these days the one that train me and the one that remind me the way back HOME leaving to go HOME TO THE FATHER)
Proverbs 29:17 Discipline your son, and he will give you peace; he will bring delight to your soul.
(Too bad it takes years before that PEACE!)

It is such and honor and privilege to know these 3 women and have them part of my life. They are true examples of Women of God, mothers and friends. May God continue to use them.
