Necessity of Proper Exposure

Our mind operates according to the quality of exposure we give to it.  As long as we’re living, we’ll always expose our minds to something.  The question here is: What are you exposing your mind to?  Is it healthy? Is it noble?  Is it challenging?

Our spirit requires exposure as well.  But unlike the mind, our spirit doesn’t live on information.  Our spirit lives on presence. Yes, God’s presence.  And this only occurs during prayer and worship.  Here lies the next question: Are you praying? Are you worshiping?

Both, the mind and the spirit work hand in hand. Although separate, they work in unison, they both posses a body.  Here’s what we are; we’re a spirit that has a mind (soul) that lives in a body.  And our bodies require physical exposure. Yep… another question: Are you exercising? Are you eating right? Are you sleeping right?

I’ll be the first to admit, I’ve miserably failed, many times, in giving my trichotomy healthy and positive exposure.   It’s a challenge…  I know.  But positive and healthy exposure to all three facets of your being is essential for prosperous living.

So very true it is a challange because sometimes we get overwhelm by them but we must not give up but allow God’s will to be done.

Very interesting, and sometimes we allow distractions to pull us away from exposure to the healthy things, how may times have we not wanted to exercise because our favorite show is on or because you had such a long day at work its the last thing you want to do, i remember pastor teaching me about balance in your life, and the whole time in your life exercise I hate so much cause its true lol, So its good to take an audit of your life and find the things you don’t need so you can have more time to expose yourself to the things you absolutely need. This blog has challenged me to do just that even more. thank you
