Why Power Gatherings?
I’ve come to a sobering conclusion that the ONLY church growth strategy in Miami is signs, wonders and miracles. We’ve tried it all here! Unfortunately, Miami still sits as the most unchurched and unreached city in our country. Prayer, fasting and preaching with miracles following, is and will be the only strategy for creating waves of change in Miami.
During the spring of this year, I heard the Lord speak to me about gathering with our churches and the churches we’re in relationship with, during the summer months, to contend and believe for miracles. We decided to call them Power Gatherings. The objective of Power Gatherings is to have people experience God’s supernatural power so they, in turn, are empowered to be conduits of His power.
These Power Gathering have been just that. Since we started them in June, we’ve had hundreds of people experience miracles in their minds and bodies. We’ve had cancer disappear, deaf ears open, shoulders, legs, knees, and backs, healed. We’ve had scars of people who cut themselves disappear! We’ve seen demons leave people along with people with life controlling problems set free! Additionally, we’ve raised thousands of dollars to orphans, church plants and Christian schools. God’s touch and presence has been on them!
We’re continuing these Power Gatherings and believe God that the heavens continue to open up over South Florida! There are hungry pastors and churches that desire their people to be empowered to operate in the power of the Holy Spirit through miracles, signs and wonders. We take nothing for ourselves in these meetings. We come to be a blessing by empowering people and we leave the churches with a blessing at the end. It’s how it should be…
