RE-LEARNING PRAYER

I’m learning much about prayer and intercession.  And what I’m learning is really a re-learning.  These are principles and concepts things that I’ve been taught but in all honesty I haven’t really “caught.”  We pastors are a “strange breed.”  Our calling and our duty is to teach and train even thought we really haven’t fully understood what we are teaching.  Lord, thank you for your grace!

This is what’s happening with me about prayer and intercession. I feel that my eyes are being opened; I’m beginning to understand the need and significance of prayer.  Now don’t get me wrong, it’s not that I didn’t already know this, it’s just that I’m seeing it in my heart from a different perspective.  It’s coming alive!

Prayer or the lack of it forms whom and what we are.  In the our physical bodies the adage is true, “we are what we eat,” but in our spirit man, “we are what we say.” And that’s what prayer is. It’s saying what God wants us to say.  God created the heavens and the earth with word.  We, in turn, have been given the power to created “our world” by what we say, decree and declare. And that is what prayer is all about.  It’s praising, asking, decreeing and declaring.

Join me every Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7:30am for a prayer and intercession meeting via conference call.  Below is the info…

A new revelation can be so refreshing to one’s spirit, especially about prayer. When we actually, truly, realize and believe how much power God has given us just in our tongue, the possibilities become endless!

its good that we pray together and we need to see the lord face to face because he will take us to the next level. so I am glad that we are praying Mondays,Wednesdays, Fridays so can be ready to tell people about the lord.

Pastor, thank you for tonight’s teaching on Prayer during Family Night. I have a whole different way of preceiving Prayer. Especially, my own personal prayer time. I truly believe that the church praying with you on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays is going to transition many lives as Impact Church is transitioning.

Prayer is imperative for us as Christians on our daily walk with Him. The more we pray and say what God wants us to say, we then see Him differently as He continues to reveal something new to us or He will cause us to relearn things. We must be consistent in our prayers and make it a lifestyle.

We have the ability to create our world. That is pretty neath I never sow it that way, but is true our tongue is so powerful that and our decisions are what create our lives.

Oh the power of prayer. One of the greatest feelings is when we pray and stand in faith and then see the hand of God move over the situation that we prayed for. Oh the power of prayer. May this not just be a season in impact church where we seek the face of God, but may our lives change and individually and corporately may we become a house of prayer.

The best way to start and end my day is with PRAYER. For
with prayer comes love and compassion for others.

When I pray as I start my day: Whatever happens I know
GOD is with me in this world. When I pray as I finish
my day: I know I am resting with GOD’S peace with me.

“GOD loves you and so do I”!!!
