Thankfulness is Demonstrated

I believe that true thankfulness is always demonstrated by an act of kindness.  To be thankful is to have a  feeling or expression of gratitude; to be appreciative. And the greatest way to express that is to reciprocate our feeling of thankfulness with an action.

We must learn to demonstrate thankfulness.  When we do so, I believe it comes to full circle and brings us to a place of guarantee where we will have yet another experience that will cause us to be thankful.

A few years ago I saw a movie titled, Pay it Forward.  It was a very  inspirational movie where random acts of kindness began to spread like wildfire when people were reciprocating their thankfulness with a demonstration and an action of kindness and gratitude. And it all started with a little boy.

Thankfulness is demonstrated.  If we are thankful for our salvation and provision of our Lord, then we should demonstrate our thankfulness by ACTION. I believe our action should be the giving up of our lives for the cause of Christ! Our lives should be one BIG DEMONSTRATION of thankfulness!

With that in mind, if you are available, tomorrow we are demonstrating our thankfulness by providing the entire personnel of Lake Stevens Middle School with a Thanksgiving Turkey! It’ll take place from 12:00pm – 2:00pm at Lake Stevens Middle School. Join us and let’s demonstrate our thankfulness.

Sounds awesome. It’s definitely a joy to be able to give to others. It’s also great to receive as well. I’m sure the Lake Stevens staff will be very appreciative. It is the thought that counts. Sorry I won’t be there but ya’ll have a blast being a blessing to others.

Actions definitely speak louder than words when it comes to showing gratitude and appreciation. I pray we’re able to reach the hearts of the faculty at LS and that they experience the love of Christ.

Amen, Pastor. We should show an act of thankfulness daily. I also saw the movie Pay it Forward and just loved it. It is a privilege to be able to join the church in blessing the personnel of Lakes Stevens Middle School. See you there.

Our salvation it’s a gift from God. We didn’t deserve it and none of us was close to reach salvation by deed. God is a giving God and He created us in his image, so because of that we are giving creatures, with the desire to give, even when people don’t deserve it. Jesus loved with an unconditional love, and we most love the same way.

We have to show people that we are here for them and I liked the movie Pay it forward because it shows that we can can help anybody who needs help.

I love to show my thankfulness for those that I am blessed to have in my life. I thank God for everyone that I have been a part of my life as they help shape me to the person I am today.
