Recognizing God’s Process in our Lives
Seeking understanding of God’s processes in your life is an indicator of a healthy spiritual life. This understanding comes from the capability of using hindsight and insight.
Hindsight is not difficult to see – it’s 20/20. Hindsight is a very clear picture. The facts, evidence and truth will always rise to the top in hindsight. It’s especially wise to use hindsight as a leveraging tool. Hindsight is a great teacher, revealer and demonstrator. Looking upon and meditation on your history will teach us to be effective in HIS-story about us.
A proper understanding and meditation of hindsight will cause us to have a healthier insight. Hindsight is looking back; insight is looking in. And when we redeem our memories we gain propensity to acquire better insight.
Hindsight is the past; foresight is the future but insight is the present. Although our goal is to connect with our future, we will never be able to do so unless we recognize our present. It’s in our present that God speaks to us about our future. It’s in our present that God teaches us to make the proper adjustments to connect with our future.
Remember this, you will never actually connect with your future. Because when the future arrives it always converts into the present. Insight is recognition of that process. Hindsight is memory; insight is revelation.
Blog entry #13 – Meditating on God’s process in my life.
The way we see the future is when we understand hindsight. God helps us to seee our future through hindsight. He shows us what is planned in whats to come for us and like Pastor says we will have 20/20 vision it is not difficult to see hindsight.
I have learned to allow God to process me and let His Will be done. I agree with you Pastor we must meditate on God’s process in our lives. I believe this is what helps us to have the insight.
We have to recognize what god has for us if we don’t we will be in the same circle. so its good that we learn how to hear the Lords voice and meditate on what God is saying.
We can’t attempt to skip the “in betweens”, a.k.a our present, desperately trying to connect with our future. The in between is where the processing takes place so we can be prepared for our future.
Alright great blog. Insight will help us reveal our future and hindsight then is an indicator, because it help us recognize what’s going on. Because the past is a reflection of the future, meaning that in a famous quote “there is nothing new under the sun”, so the past will help us plan a better future, but is the insight that will reveal the future. God wants to show us the future, but that happens when we embrace hindsight and insight.
Realizing my present gets hard for me sometimes because I tend to look back at my past and wonder how I will get to my future with everything that has happened. I often confuse myself but God is teaching me to better understand where I am right now and how to leverage the things in the past so that I can connect it with what I see in the future.
