Neutrality…

We are continuing on our IMPACT INITIATIVE series.  We are taking the month of January to fully engage in our yearly direction for our church.  Yesterday, we attacked and exposed the enemies of initiative.  And until we recognize them, we’ll be helpless in our efforts of leaving an impact in our families, church, communities and city.

We exposed the attitude of neutrality. The goal of neutrality, in the life of a believer, is to abort dreams. The state of neutrality cancels out the environment of impartation, which, in turn, prevents us from conceiving God-given dreams that grow into manifested purposes.

You cannot follow God in neutrality. The main strategy of the enemy of our souls is centered on keeping us in this mode of operation and thinking. Neutrality is NOT a safe place, rather a very dangerous position of deception that causes us to live life in a NEUTERED condition (an inability to produce and reproduce).

Those who change the world have one thing in common  – they live life and do not allow life to live them.  They have learned to break out of the trap of neutrality and have taken the initiative to move forward in IMPACT!

Blog entry # 23 – Removing the neutral gear and still wishing people a happy New Year!

When I audit myself I can find times in my life when I have been Neutral and find that these have been times when I feel to comfortable. This year my Intiative is to get out of Neutral, enough is enough, I am sick and tired of being sick and tired. I need to get to the next level. Good point on Neutrality.

If we let ourselfs get into the state of neutrality it will contain us from the purposes that God has place for us in our life.

Really great teaching on Sunday. Neutrality stuck with me the most because I remember being like that. Always in the middle and never picking a side. Placating and trying to be nice about things. I think doing that keeps you still and in place. You are right, life lives you. Great things happen when your eyes begin to open and you let God in. Placating no longer seems right.

Well Pastor we need to go forward and don’t let your life fall in a hole. I know that when you put a car in neutral it doesn’t go anywhere. we don’t want to be like that so we need to listen to the word of the lord and it will take you the next level.

When I hear the word neutrality, I think of countries like poland that stayed neutral during the World War II, and it remind me that because they choose to be neutral they didn’t have a side and they had no control not even of their own country. When Germany came with their powerful army the Poland nation fall. When we fall in neutrality our voice becomes nothing and we decide through our actions to be leave move by the wind.

Being neutral is like being lukewarm, not accomplishing very much. Like the Word says, God will spit us out of His mouth if we are neither hot nor cold.

This is a dangerous place to be in. To be in a place where there is no production or reproduction is a wasteful and scary place to be in. I have found myself in this position when I decide to take a break from the action. I would hate to be physically neutered and wouldn’t want that to happen to me spiritually either. We must be careful of this as a church.
