Honoring Dishonor and Dishonoring Honor
This Sunday will bring us to a powerful time in the presence of the Lord. I know this because we’ve been in intense spiritual warfare for some time now. As the pastor of Impact Church, my prayer is that our church receives the Spirit of wisdom and revelation (Eph 1:17). With this, we will be able to discern the Word of the Lord and recognize the purpose He has for us, therefore, bringing heaven to earth. We’ve been praying this for some time now but with very little results. And then He revealed to me the answer or if I may, the hindrance. DISHONOR.
Unfortunately we live in a society that honors dishonor and dishonors honor. And that culture has bled into the church. We’ve been deceived by the gates of hell to believe that our dishonor is actually honor. And the result of that creates a deaf and mute condition of the soul that has an inability to hear and speak what the Spirit is saying to the Church. We’ve been functioning in a state of spiritual dysfunction; keeping in mind the things of man instead of the things of God.
Dishonor is a deception that needs to be exposed. And once exposed, there has to be repentance from it by creating a culture that moves in complete opposite of it. When HONOR is restored, it places us in the posture of receptivity. Why? Because when we operate in honor, honor rewards us. Honor places us under an open heaven where angels descend and ascend over our lives.
We’ll learn more about this on Sunday. Let’s HONOR the Lord by being found at the Lord’s house this Sunday – ON TIME! Let’s live in HONOR and let’s bring heaven to earth!
Well Pastor we know that when you dishonor something everything you do it will fall. we need to honor the lord and he will give the word.
We can be easily deceived by the gates of hell in our minds where it all starts. Thank God for a God that is so merciful that even now as He is revealing to us the places of dishonor He is bringing HONOR. He is a God that loves us.
I am so looking forward to hearing on HONOR in your sermon this
sunday. We hear the word Honor so much that it becomes just
another word. We know it isn’t. We need to learn all the infor-
mation so we can instill this word and act in every part of our
daily life.
Honor reward us and when you honor authority it gives you authority and power. Because now you represent the authority of the person you honor. Honoring put us in a point of authority.
Pastor I know that if you dishonor your parents you are breaking a commondment that doesn’t show honor to the jesus.
