Annual Leadership Christmas Party
Last night my wife and I hosted our annual leadership Christmas party. I’m very thankful for the faithful leaders God has given to us. I was taught several years ago that life is not about stuff (accomplishments, awards, and accolades) rather it’s about friends. The value of our lives, at the end, is determined by the amount of friends we have and the people we’ve influenced.
The year 2010 has been a very challenging year for my wife and I. But in it, God has done (and still is) doing a great work! If it wasn’t for our friends, who stayed with us, encouraged us, and “didn’t give us our space” but stayed true to the covenant of relationship, we honestly don’t know if we would’ve been able to manage it.
So this Christmas celebration was a little different. At least it was in our eyes… Our perspective has changed. Our value system has changed. There’s nothing like tough times – they reveal to you who’s really with you. And there’s nothing like GOOD FRIENDS that stay with you, regardless.
Merry Christmas…and thank-you.
Pastors,
We cannot say thank you enough. It’s you both who have sacrificed so much for us. And continued to put your neck out there for us, believing in us even when we didnt deserve. Thank you. We love you both so much.
Pastor Manny and Pastor Victoria, What you
said last night brought tears of gratitude
to my eyes. I feel so fortunate and priv-
ileged to be a small part of IMPACT CHURCH
and Leadership.
I have found so much love and compassion from
you, leaders and members of our church. I
thank God every day. My Chirstmas gift is
all year with having your friendship in my life
MERRY CHRISTMAS BLESSING AND MY LOVE TO YOU
ALL!!!!!!
Thank you Pastors, and you are more than just pastors to us but friends as well. We had a blast 🙂
Pastor, I totally agreed with you, it all comes down to good friends. Sometimes not even your family is there when your truly need them but a real true friend is always there no matter what. I think this year has been the toughest for everyone but the important is the people in our life. I am thankful daily for the people in my family’s life. It is not about the material stuff this year but about the time spent together with family and friends. Thank you for being more than friends to us. We are here for you always.
Merry Christmas to you and the whole family.
I agree with you Pastor we are here for you always and we are thankful that God put us in your lives.
AMEN, true friends stick closer than a brother and we can see that love and strong relationship with people that we consider friends.
It was a special time with the leaders this past Sunday. It was a great time of fellowship with friends that are there for each other in both good times and bad.
