Bible College Begins…
We began our CITI BIBLE COLLEGE winter term last night. We’ve partnered with Pastor Tony Rivera and Citi Church to help create a school of ministry that impacts men and women for the cause of Christ. I want to thank the very brave souls that dared to venture into this journey with us. You guys are already champions by taking the initiative!
This year, one of the three cultures we are building in IMPACT CHURCH is the culture of teaching. Under the auspices of teaching is learning. You can’t teach if you aren’t learning…continuously. My take is this… “Once a Bible student; always a Bible student!”
As I refreshed through my New Testament Survey teaching notes to begin our class, I was inspired and refreshed all over again. That stuff does not get old! The teacher will forever be a student.
Blog entry #24 – Always a Student of His Word
I am very happy that Pastor is with his brother doing bible college so they can teach everybody about the Lord.
No matter how many times you’ve read the Word front to back, there is always new revelation that can be found in it. We should all see ourselves as lifetime students of God’s Word.
There is not one day that goes by that we do not learn something new. The secret is to always be teachable.
Is great to learn about the word of God and the works of the lord.
I am glad to be a part of the Citi Bible College. There is plenty to learn about the Bible and I am looking forward to taking part of the courses that are being offered.
A major part of you life development is based out of studing Gods word. The easy part is learning, the hard part is applying what you have learned so that actual life developmen. In taking initiative this year it is important not only to do we learn but apply all that we have learned so that we can deveope into the men and woman of God that we are called to be.
There is always something new to learn, there is always something new to study. And as a Bible student, the Word of God will always show you new thing even when you read the same verse over and over. God has always has things to reveal us daily. We just have to be hungry to seek for it.
