Getting Prophetically Profiled

In the “pastor/guest speaker” culture, it’s usually customary that on the eve before the guest speaker speaks at the pastor’s church, that the pastor takes him out to eat at a steak house (or restaurant the represents the culture of the geographical location) LOL!  I followed these unwritten rules of the culture last night.  We have Tim Redmond of Redmond Leadership Institute coming to share and minister this morning.  And I’ll tell you… I’ve never had a dinner meeting like I had last night!

I’ve had all kinds of men and women from various backgrounds and spiritual gifts in the last 10m years do this  “pre-preach” dinner custom, but I’ve never had the experience like I did last night!

At first we had our typical small talk as we were quickly indexing information and trying to figure out angles on personality and motives. But finally, as we got into the nitty-gritty of our conversation, the prophetic gift of Tim Redmond began to fire away.  I’ll tell you… I’ve never been so profiled, as I was last night!  Talk about “hitting the nail on the head!” I finally saw some things about my life that I could not have noticed on my own!  Only a person with a strong prophetic gift and a very good understanding of leadership can do such things.  He hasn’t begun yet, but I’m already glad I have him as a gust speaker!

I sense in my spirit that today, tonight and Monday night are going to be powerful times!

Come expecting!

It was indeed a powerful Service both this morning and tonight. Alot of information that is so imperative for us to really reach individually what God has in store for us Corporately. Great Principles to live by.

I enjoyed Sunday and Monday night. I pray that we apply the principals that we learned and stop playing the blaming game. I thank God that he is the God of more than enough. Can’t wait until Monday.

Tim Redmond is not like anyone else I have heard. His teaching challenged my thinking and caused my imagination to expand. I am looking forward to see in him tonight as he teaches at Bishop Billy Baskins’s church tonight.

Pastor, I am so thrilled for you that this dinner was so
full of insight to both of you as you profiled each other.

Just a little bit of my warped sense of humor: I thought
of the television show Criminal Minds when I saw the word
    (profiled).
