Happy Birthday Zealynd!

I’m officially a proud parent of teenagers. Yesterday was my youngest son’s birthday, Zealynd Price Rivera.  The era of preteen has come to an end for Victoria and I.  Thus far our “teen parenting years” haven’t lived up to their crazy reputation. And with that we are very thankful!  We’ve been very blessed to have children who have a focused love.   They love the Lord, they love their parents, they love each other, they love their church and they love their activities.  There’s been no time for foolishness and no place for boredom – as it should be!

My blogs are my thoughts on life.  I write about my passion, God, His kingdom and my family.  And as it’s customary, I dedicate this blog to my birthday boy. Although he’s not a boy anymore, for he is now an official teenager!

• Zealynd carries an incredible charisma; he knows how to capture a crowd! And everyone who knows him agrees!
• Although he loves the stage and the limelight, he knows how to serve behind the scenes.
• He currently serves as our youngest usher in our helps ministry.  Go Zealynd!
• It makes me proud to see him as part of the set-up team, showing up to duty before most adults.
• He displays an incredible passion for God and a compassion for people.
• I love to see him worship God in our services.  He displays his emotions without being self-conscience.
• We can always count on Zealynd to make us all laugh.  He has an incredible sense of humor.
• I still don’t know how he’s able to take everyday life’s situations and make them appear so funny!
• Zealynd is a phenomenal dancer with great skills and potential; I believe acting and dancing is in his future!
• Zealynd has a great boldness and is not afraid to approach or talk to anyone; he has an ability to identify with people.
• Who knows one day he might be a very successful pastor.
