It Can Be Difficult

I know, it can be difficult…

As a Pastor and leader, it’s our responsibility to be a voice of encouragement.  Many of us (pastors) have a knack in seeing and sensing what God is doing and where He’s taking us.  We speak it, proclaim it, profess it and declare it to our congregation.  We just know when God is up to something even if times are tough and hope seems bleak.

It’s difficult trying to accept encouragement when we ‘re in a middle of a tough season and dark time.  It’s hard to picture God working in the middle of our mess.  Our “instant age” mindset fights against repairs and updates that require time to be fulfilled.

We must realize that God’s work in our lives is subject to our laws of living and laws of existence.  There’s a day and night… There’s seed, time and harvest… There is a time for everything under the sun…  What am I saying?  I’m saying that God’s processes in our lives require time to development.  They’re subject to our understanding and our acceptance.

So even if we’re in the darkest time of our lives, we need to know that His light is about to shine.  We have to understand that every new day starts in total darkness.  Like seeds in the ground, new seasons begin in an intangible state.  They appear ethereal and insubstantial, but be encouraged they’re on the way! In the fulfillment of time, God will bring us to a place of increase and favor. Wait for it… Expect… Hold on!

I know it can be difficult… but just hold your ground.  After doing all you can do, STAND.  Wait for its manifestation.  We’re already in a NEW SEASON.

It’s hard to understand something that when you are in a process you have no control over the actions which take place in your life!
2Kings 6 When the prophets were building a new home for their ministry. In the process of felling trees for the purpose, one of them accidentally lost the ax head in the Jordan River. Before they could continue, they needed to retrieve that ax head. They needed a sharp ax head to continue, and an ax handle won’t cut wood—it will only bruise and damage the tree. So Elisha threw a stick into the water and the ax head, rose to the surface. When this miracle took place through the anointing it ushered Elisha into a new level of ministry! When is God going to reveal and bring out what has been hidden from our view, just as surely as He brought the ax head to the surface?

In due time… Ax Head miracles come about when we position our hearts in the right motive. And in time, when flesh gets out of the way, we’ll see ax heads floating in our lives.

Waiting patiently in Expectation on God. No matter what I am going through right now and my circumstance I will stand. Thank you God because it is through your mercy and grace that I STAND.
