Judging…
I’m spending the whole day and most of the night at the International Dance Intensive. My children and their dance company are competing. As I stated in earlier entries, these moments are invaluable. I’m enjoying seeing my children on the big stage dancing their hearts out in their solos and with their groups in front of all those intimidating judges!
Frankly, I’m not used to this type of competition. I’m used to keeping an obvious score… baseball runs – football touchdowns and basketball hoops. Being judged subjectively almost doesn’t seem fair. I’m just glad that the only one who can give a perfect subjective judgment is God the Father. I’m thankful for the blood of Jesus who covers me and places me in a place of righteousness so when I’m judged, He only sees His SON.
Blog entry #28 – Thankful for HIS GRACE!!
Very true Pastor, Thank God for his mercy and grace.. If it wasnt for the blood of Jesus there would be no hope. Enjoy your kids and their accomplishments.
Very true the ultimate Judge is GOD.
Amen, where would we be without His grace and the blood of His son our saviour.
Amen to that sir, and sometimes we let the judgements of others dictate our lives. The voice of God the only voice that matters.
Well Pastor the Lord show us that we don’t judge anybody because we are not here to do that.we need to let the people know that the lord he didn’t judge anybody.
We are not here to judge people we are here to spread the word of God and bring people to Christ.
If it wasn’t for Jesus we’ll be going straight to hell. I thank God for his love for giving Jesus, his only begotten son so that we could go to heaven. We will face judgement, but because of Jesus we are not guilty.
I am thankful to have one judge in God. It doesn’t matter what other “judges” think of me, but what my Father thinks of me.
