SUNDAY’S SUMMARY…

Today I’ll inaugurate a new Monday blog titled, Sunday’s Summary.  It’ll be a “summary” or a recap of what God did in the life of MHC the Sunday before.  It’ll be written in a bulleted format and I’ll just write about the  “the good” and leave “the bad” and “the ugly” alone….

  • I think I’ve concluded my message series on Covenant. Boy, what a ride!  I’ve really enjoyed it.   I’ve had more conversations, emails and texts with testimonies about this series.
  • We had a powerful time during our communion service.  Once again, the sacrament of communion unveiled another powerful Kingdom principle.  It was quite revelatory the way it exemplified the arena of covenant and our placement in the house of God.
  • We had one of the most powerful baptism services we’ve had in a while!  It wasn’t in the amount of people being baptized rather in the presence and power of God that filled the moment.
  • Next week will be one of the most important Sundays in the existence of our church.  We have much work to do in only 5 days!  Make sure you make it there and please invite many.

I hope you had a great Labor Day weekend…

What a great Sunday! I’ve really enjoyed the messages on Covenant, learning about God’s promise to and with us in a whole other way. Communion and baptism was beautiful and I cannot wait to hear the plans for the next ten years of our church!

The whole series on Covenant was very informative and exciting from beginning to end. I see covenant from a completely different perspective now and I have already began implementing the principles taught into my life. Water Baptism was very powerful as it preached God’s goodness through the act of baptism. I can’t wait until this Sunday when the 2020 vision is unveiled to our church!

It was a very awesome time. Baptism was emotional just by the fact that God’s presence was there and the changes in peoples lives. To see God at work in a little girl like Emily, God is a Great God. Looking forward to what is yet to come.

What a great sunday with a lot of principles and teaching. I love the way covenant and the Last Supper has so much sense and How much it relates to each other.

It’s amazing to see changes in the lives of those who were baptized, from the young to the not so young. It blessed me to just be a witness and share in that celebration of it with them. Awesome!

Sunday was awesome! The presence of the Lord was thick in the air; evidence of lives being changed. God is being glorified; we need to keep moving from glory to glory.
