SUNDAY’S SUMMARY
What a great Sunday we had yesterday! For those still in the shadows, yesterday was our 2020 Vision Sunday! Frankly, I was quite nervous as I unveiled the next ten years of our church. I was encouraged as I saw the excitement in the eyes of people during my sermon/presentation. What a great church I pastor!! Here are some of the highlights…
1. I’ve discovered that the major transition of our lives occur every ten years. It all began for us (Victoria and I) in…
– 1980 – Our first season of discovery and transition…
– 1990 – Marriage and ministry and children…
– 2000 – The birth of MHC…
– 2010 – A NEW CHURCH!
2. We put into place two new couples as elders – Johnny & Jenny Olivardia and Junior & Melissa Ramirez
3. We’ve transitioned from life groups to Impact Groups… Impact groups are 13-week teaching discipleship groups… Good stuff.
4. Family Night. Our mid-week corporate ministry is now on Wednesday nights at our Sunday morning location. It’s corporate prayer and Bible study along with our Youth Ministry meeting in the school cafeteria.
5. We have reincorporated our church and have even changed the name… Our new name is now IMPACT CHURCH! – I’ll explain why later…
6. Along with a new name; a new website, a new brand, a new look and a new feel…
7. We put in new core values; a new mission and a new vision – more on that tomorrow.
8. We’ve been in pursuit of God’s presence, favor and wisdom. We’ve been in prayer since the first part of June. We came to a conclusion that the new work and direction the Lord is leading us into necessitates a NEW WINESKIN. That’s being established, not just in communicating and teaching the culture, but also in building the structure for it.
To be continued…
Good stuff Pastor. Proud of you and Pastor Vicky. I cant ask for better Pastors..

Sunday was excellent! The vision of our church for the next 10 years was unveiled and it was very exciting 😀 Impact Church!
I am so proud of the way our church is moving forward. I
believe that we will IMPACT the world. I love Family Night
and am looking forward to attending my 1st Impact Group.
All our elders are true leaders for the vision of our church
and know that they will do everything possible to guide us
all in GOD’S work for HIS kingdom. Could not have made a
better than Johnny & Jenny Olivardia and Junior and Melissa
Remirez for our new elders. They are both loving couples
and truly have GOD in their hearts.
Pastor, I thought you were cute at age 12. I liked your
wedding picture with all your HAIR. It was great to see
a little of your and Pastor Victoria earlier life. Knowing
more of your family life only makes me love you all even
more.
PLEASE let me know how I can be of help in any way!!!
I’m really excited about this new
Move. It’s so true that their is no private destiny outside of a corporate destiny. I feel like I am taking on a new persona, and entering a totally new season of my life and so are we all. 🙂 really excited. Growing up is fun 🙂
This is a new journey full of adventure. With new challenges and victories. It’s a great time for our church and I know we will be in a whole new level.
Any significant and lasting changing starts within us, so let’s keep seeking God’s presence. He will make the new wine-skin and also pour the new wine in it…
