TRANSITIONS

“When you see the ark of the covenant of the LORD your God, and the priests, who are Levites, carrying it, you are to move out from your positions and follow it. 4 Then you will know which way to go, since you have never been this way before… (Joshua 3:3-4)

I feel like I have a new take on the term “transition.” It seems that we’ve been in it for quite some time now.

Here’s my take on transition…  It’s not just a “Christianeese” term; it’s an ongoing process that occurs in the life of believers.  Growth is transitional.  Following is transitional. Movement is transitional and change is transitional.  The fact is that transition is supposed to be occurring on a regular and continuous basis in the life of a believer. He leads and we follow – this is how it works in our lives; and this is the process of growth, productivity and fulfillment

Now, although transition is continuous, there are times when it’s flat-out palpable. And these are usually times of MAJOR transitions. They’re not just spiritual or mental but physical as well.  These times are very vulnerable; setbacks await us if wrong moves are taken.

Honestly, this is where Victoria and I have been. And the crazy thing is that we’re not finished yet.  All I know is that the Lord is taking us to a place where there is no point of reference. We’ve truly have not passed this way before.”  I’ve never been more hungry and desirous to not just know His will but to do it as well!

Thank-you for your prayers,

Pastor Manny

Well Pastor we need to move forward and we will let the holy spirit take his course and I know that it will take us to the next level.

I know you will continue to let God lead you and when you get to this new place, you will have a testimony to share with us all as we pass through our own transitions.

Transition is so important because I think that it relates with our responsibilities. We most embrace our responsibilities and we can’t run away from them, the more we grow, the more things we carry on and that is responsibilities.

This season of transitions hasn’t been the easiest but it is necessary for us to get to the place God wants us.

Pastors, you both are truly examples of following God’s will in your life no matter where he leads you. We want to be like you when we grow up. I know without a doubt that he is leading you on the right path. Your obedience and faithfulness will be greatly rewarded.
