WE ARE NOW IMPACT CHURCH

In continuation from my last blog…

One of the principal changes we made and presented on Sunday was the changing of the name of our church.  Since our inception, we’ve been a dual-county regional church. We’ve found out that by having “Miami,” in our name hindered our “perception reach.”  We asked the Lord to give us a simple, yet strong, name that communicates what we’ve been able to do in the last 10 years.

After reminiscing on what we we’ve been able to do, we’ve determined that our church has left an IMPACT on the lives of people.  It’s the testimonies and the stories of the people who keep my fire burning and my dream alive.   IMPACT is what I pray we can leave on our region and generation. IMPACT speaks of making a forceful difference on the lives of people.  Yes, we are IMPACT CHURCH.

Impact: noun 1.the striking of one thing against another; forceful contact 2. An invasion 3.influence; effect: 4.an impacting; forcible impinging 5.the force exerted by a new idea, concept or ideology: –Verb (used with object) 6. To drive or press closely or firmly into something; pack in. 7.to fill up; congest; throng 8. To collide with; strike forcefully: 9. To have an impact or effect on; influence; alter.

We are uploading the full sermon/presentation of our 2020 Vision on our website for viewing by Thursday, September 16th.   I ask that you watch through and grasp where we are going.

Our change of name will be a gradual one.  It’ll take about three months for us to change out everything that carries our old name.  I know we’ll carry a dual name identity for a little while, but it’ll be fine.

Taking a little survey here… Which one communicates better? Don’t worry about the color, they can be changed to any color on demand. I really would love to see what you think… Let me know.

The first is too simple. The third looks like an ink blob beside our name and the second is too long. The second one is simple but it has accent to it. So if I had to choose one I would use the second one.

I pick #4! At first I thought that CHURCH should not be
in smaller letters but as I looked at the full picture
showing IMPACT with the outline of the city: it is to me
    PERFECTO!

I know when I first came to Miami Harvest Church, I was
dying on the inside without thinking or caring about my
life. I really felt I had nothing left to give. But
from the spirit of love and support I recieved from all
my Miami Harvest Churchers showed me that GOD still has
    a purpose for me.

I am looking forward to fulfilling my destiny for GOD’S
KINGDOM. I want to thank you all for being there for you
all have truly made a POSITIVE IMPACT on my life.

May GOD bless you all as you have certainly blessed me!!!

Impact Church, Impact Church, Impact Church, yes it’s sticking. I love it! It’s perfect for us and allows us to be more fluid in our locations as we reach out to the different areas of Dade AND Broward. This is so exciting! I actually like #3, it’s simple, to the point- no complications.

Impact Church! The name change is quite appropriate if we are going to reach people in and out of this county. I would say I like logo number 1.

These are really exciting times. I really do like number 4, showing the city and am glad that you indicated that this is a survey since we do not vote. lol 🙂

I like the number 1. It’s real basic and for I think it’s cool because when you read it, it’s like “I see Impact Church” (IC Impact Church). And personally I like the red too. If not 1 then 4 but 1 is my first choice. I can’t wait to watch Sundays sermon and the unveiling of this next decade. I can’t wait until God allows me to go back to Miami. I love and miss you guys.

I really like #4. Reason is it’s illustating us impacting a vast city area. I like that. But since we are going really simple #2 is nice. It also shows a glimpse the city, with a simple look.

I like number two. This church impacted my life in many ways, and it helped me to grow a relationship with God. God had a plan and He put me in MHC, our church is a forceful church that has impacted the life of many people. I know this church will affect the life of many and it will continue to the next generations.

I am liking the 2nd and 4th ones. Not sure if those are city buildings in the back ground or not. Other than that, I think those two look good.

Love the name. It paints a perfect picture of what we as a church are striving for. Me and my kids like #4 ;o)
