Why I’m Blogging…

For those that have recently subscribed to Pasatormanny.com and are wondering why I’m numbering my blogs entries, let me explain.

It’s a discipline that I’ve created and a goal I want to achieve this year. I’m attempting to post, a minimum, 352 blog entries this year. And I’m trying to reach that goal before December 31^st.

Blogging helps me in many ways:

1. It gathers my thoughts and allows me to communicate specifically.
It inspires me to focus on what the Lord is speaking to me.
It’s assisting me in improving my writing skills (have a long way to go yet!)
It’s helping write my next book.
It’s another way to disciple and pour into people. It’s a great way of continually communicating passion and vision.
It’s a great way of establishing community. It turns sermons into conversations.
Lastly, it’s a great way of keeping people connected with not just my ministry but also with me.

I’m thankful for the hundreds of people who have subscribed to my blog. I pray that you are being inspired and fed by it. I’m expecting great things to come from it this year.
